The MMMF Guide to Munich
.

Every year on February 6th a remembrance/memorial service takes place in Munich. The service is not “owned” by anyone however from a logistical point of view it is organised by and led by the MMMF and has been since 2019. As we say it’s for the fans by the fans.
What You Need to Know
- The service, which takes place in the open air, starts around 2:40 Germany time (Please take up your positions by 2:30 to avoid disruption) and lasts for around 30 minutes.
- Anyone can attend. There are no tickets needed. There is no need to pre-book. Just turn up
- Please be respectful. This is a memorial event
- Alcohol is not allowed at or in the vicinity of the service. This is a request from the Munich Police.
- There are no MMMF-organised pre-event meetups however you will usually find plenty of Reds in the local bars and pubs
- You are most welcome to lay a wreath or flowers. Please contact the MMMF beforehand (info@mmmf.co.uk)so that it can be factored into the service timings
- There are a limited number of chairs available. If you need one for health/mobility reasons, please contact the MMMF at least a week prior to the event.
