The MMMF recently visited Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley. We were shown around the hospice by members of the Derian team who took great pride in displaying the fantastic facilities they have to offer. The whole experience was very humbling and reiterated our decision to list the hospice as one of our charities.In November 2022 the MMMF donated £7,000 to Derian House and we will try to donate as much as we can again this year.
Our Honorary President Brian Kidd’s appearance was eagerly anticipated by the Chief Executive Karen Edwards who is an avid Manchester United fan. Both Brian and MMMF Chair Ifty Ahmed were extremely impressed by the work carried out at the hospice and are proud of the MMMF’s support of such a worthwhile charity.
