The MMMF is delighted with the huge number of visitors to the replica Manchesterplatz Munich plinth at the Railway Club on Chester Road. The Trustees of the MMMF would like to place on record their heartfelt thanks to the MMMF members who not only funded the making of the plinth but also recently pledged donations in respect of the perspex cover for the plinth. This should protect the plinth from both the elements of the Manchester weather and potential vandalism. Your generosity is hugely appreciated

24th February 2023:
Today saw the official unveiling of the replica Munich memorial, created by MMMF Member Stephen Melgie Merry. The memorial, which is a copy of the one at Manchesterplatz, will live at the Railway Club in Stretford. Around 70-80 United fans, including several MMMF members, were joined at the unveiling ceremony by United legends Paddy Crerand and Alex Stepney.
