| The MMMF has now considered its position following the resignation of Chairman, Pat Burns. The group place on record its appreciation of his extraordinary work in developing the organisation into the position as a recognised member of the Manchester United family. His hard work, determination and dedication in memory of the Babes can only be admired and respected and we are sure that all Reds will appreciate his work.
Under his leadership the MMMF have gone from strength to strength, not only delivering the annual commemoration at the site of the disaster at Trudering in Munich and building valued relationships with partners in Belgrade, Munich and the UK but also raising funds in memory of the Babes for charities involving young people in Manchester, Chorley, Munich and Belgrade. Members of the group have now determined a new Board structure consisting of 6 Trustees :- Ifty Ahmed: Chair Gerry Rhoades-Brown: Vice-Chair and Events Coordinator Mike Thomas: Communications and Social Media Mark Holt: Finance Melissa Moore: Fund Raising Des Grogan: Secretary The new Board will now do its utmost to build on the excellent work lead by Pat and supported by the other trustees and ensure that the MMMF continues to flourish . |
