The MMMF are delighted to announce that Francis House Children’s Hospice in Didsbury has been added to our list of charities. Last week the hospice was visited by our Honorary President Brian Kidd and our Chair Ifty Ahmed. They were overawed by the facilities and the care that children receive there.
The following message was received today.
“On behalf of the children and families at Francis House I would like to thank you for your very kind £3,000.00 donation.
Each year, Francis House touches the lives of over 500 families from across Greater Manchester who are caring for a child with a short life-expectancy. We are here for these families through their good days, their tough days, and their last days.
This simply wouldn’t be possible without the support of a caring community. Your help means we can continue to be a lifeline to families who are facing the toughest of challenges.
