On Sunday 21st July 2019, Brian “Molly” Mulholland from the MMMF presented the ribbons (taken from the wreath laid on behalf of all MUFC fans at this years memorial service in Trudering, Munich) to the family of Jimmy Murphy.

Molly said ” on behalf of all at the MMMF, please accept these ribbons as a small token of love appreciation and esteem for Jimmy and all he did for our great club”.

Pat Burns, MMMF Director, added “We, the MMMF, wanted to make this small gesture on behalf of all United fans in recognition for all that Jimmy did for our club in its darkest days, and to show our appreciation and the high esteem that all United fans have for this great servant of our club”.

On behalf of the Murphy family, Jimmy’s son Nick, accompanied by Jimmy’s grandsons Mike and Paul said ” we are so moved to receive these ribbons on behalf of the family, god bless you all, thank you so much”

The presentation took place at The Nags Head in Manchester, In attendance were 5 members of the MMMF, 3 members of the Murphy family and about 10 fans
