The Stretford Enders Reunion is an annual social and fundraising event now organised by the MMMF, that takes place each May at The Old Nags Head pub in Manchester (Old Nags Head, 19 Jackson’s Row, Manchester M2 5WD).
It’s a chance to meet up with old friends (and make new ones), have a drink or two, a catchup and at the same time help raise thousands of pounds for the charitable causes supported by the MMMF via the raffle and auction, all in the informal setting of a city centre pub. Sometimes there’s ex-United players in attendance (no promises). No need to book. No tickets needed. Just turn up!
2026 Reunion
The 2026 reunion took place on 16th May. We had around 200 attendees and even though there were no ex-players there this year it was still a cracking event where, thanks to the generosity of those in attendance we raised just over £3,000, all of which will be donated to the various charities supported by the MMMF.Â
Thanks to Tommy Price for leading the Stretford End anthems. Thanks to all those who donated prizes and bought tickets. Thanks to Sketch for his live painting of Eric And finally to all the old-school United supporters (and some not-so-old-school ones too) who made the day such a success as everÂ
Finally a shameless plug for a brilliant Stretford End related article written by the brilliant Carly Lyes, a long-time friend of the MMMF. Check it out here: https://schoolofjournalism.shorthandstories.com/reclaiming-the-stretford-end/
Here’s some pics from the 2026 Stretfore End Reunion event. All Photos supplied by another great friend of the MMMF, Dave Featherstone. Thank you Dave for capturing some great memories of the day
