The MMMF Gala Dinner
The MMMF annual gala dinner is the highlight of our calendar. It’s an evening that brings together our community to remember, celebrate, and support the important work of the Foundation. Each year, friends old and new gather at Old Trafford for a memorable evening of good food, great company, and fundraising. It’s a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, make new connections, and enjoy a fantastic night out, all while supporting a cause that matters.
The gala dinner combines the best of both worlds: a wonderful social occasion and a meaningful fundraising event. Guests enjoy an informal dinner in the iconic surroundings of Old Trafford, with the excitement of our raffle and auction adding to the atmosphere.
It’s the kind of evening where having fun and making a difference go hand in hand. Every ticket purchased and every pound raised through our raffle and auction directly supports the Foundation’s work in keeping the memory of the Munich Air Disaster alive and supporting our chosen charities.
Our gala dinner typically takes place in October or November. Whether you’ve attended before or this would be your first time, we’d love to welcome you to Old Trafford for what promises to be a special evening. We usually announce the date of the dinner in June/July, once the fixtures have been released. Keep your eye on this page for further announcements.
2026 Gala Dinner: The Details
The 2026 MMMF Gala Dinner takes place on the evening of Friday 30th October. It will be held in The Manchester Suite at Old Trafford (The Theatre of Dreams not the cricket ground!)
The cost is £95 for a single seat or £900 for a table of 10 people
TO BOOK YOUR PLACE: Send an email to info@mmmf.co.uk stating the number of seats you require.
If you are booking for more than 1 person please include everyone’s name but we appreciate that’s not always possible so names can be submitted later
Please also include menu choices (again these can be submitted later) including any dietary requirements (gluten-free etc)

Atlantic coldwater & king prawn cocktail, baby gem lettuce, marie rose, brown bread and butter
Vegetarian – Tomato & Red Pepper Soup, Herb Croutons, Chive Soured Cream (v)
Main Course: Choice of…
Meat- 28 day aged shorthorn fillet steak, sautéed mushroom, vine tomatoes, thyme & garlic pont neuf, bearnaise
Fish – Roast salmon supreme, chive & new potato salad, dill hollandaise and chargrilled vegetables
Vegetarian- Charred Aubergine, Garlic Sautéed Wild Mushrooms, Pea Purée, Crispy Onion, Wild English Greens (v)
Dessert:
Vanilla crème brûlée, butter biscuit
